Claim: Listings and many reviews suggest a 2000 mAh power bank charges a phone fully.
What we found: Capacity on the box is measured at the cell's 3.7 V: 2000 mAh × 3.7 V ≈ 7.4 Wh. Converting to 5 V USB and charging the phone loses roughly a quarter to a third of that. A current phone battery holds about 13 to 15 Wh.
Our conclusion: Expect about 30 to 40% of a modern phone, enough for calls and alerts, not a full day of use. For a full charge, look at the 4000 mAh class or larger.

The National Weather Service explains that the 1050 Hz warning alarm wakes receivers built to detect it, even with the sound turned off, and recommends a receiver with SAME so it only sounds for your own county. That is why we see a crank radio as the second radio, not the only one.
