Oregon Scientific Indoor/Outdoor Temperature & Humidity Station with Atomic Clock

Oregon Scientific Indoor/Outdoor Temperature & Humidity Station with Atomic ClockThe Oregon Scientific Indoor/Outdoor Temperature & Humidity Station with Atomic Clock, model number RMR203HGA, is a great and useful gadget to any home or office. It is your very own weather station that gives you accurate information about the humidity and temperature inside your home or office. It also has an atomic clock that automatically sets its own precise time every day. You can even add up 3 more remote sensors to be placed outdoors which will send similar information of the weather condition outside to the main receiver inside; although these sensors are sold separately. This cool weather station is also ideal in any desktop working area or a good shelf in your home. It also has another optional remote sensor that has an Ice Alert feature. When the remote sensor senses the outside temperature drop to a freezing level, the blinking green LED light in the surface of the console gets activated. The function of the main console is to record and display the fluctuations in the humidity and temperature levels every day. The atomic clock also comes with a sleek calendar that also sets itself for the exact time and would even go as far as coinciding with the Daylight Savings as long as it’s applicable. All these information and displays are found in this sleek display with the size of a deck of playing cards.

The major feature of this device is to display information about the current and changes in the humidity and temperature wherever you place it. Ideally, this device is placed indoors which is why you have the option to buy additional sensors that can give you the same information outside. It measures approximately 2.9 by 5.2 by 1.8 inches weighs just about 11.2 ounces.

The customers who reviewed this weather station gave it an average rating of 2.5 stars. It seems that not a lot of people got what they expected with this gadget but there are still a few who were satisfied with their buy.

One customer was fairly happy with it since it was exactly what she wanted. She needed a gadget that would provide information on the temperature inside her house and she got it. She also liked the looks of this device. She mentioned that the sleek silver and blue writing makes it appear to be a gorgeous decoration as well.

On the other hand, one customer was highly disappointed because her gadget only tells the temperature and does not include the humidity. Another one was just a little inconvenienced on how the outdoor sensor malfunctioned after two hours of use but she contacted the manufacturer and negotiated about it. There’s also another one who got a defective outside sensor. The one for indoors was okay but the one for outdoors didn’t work and none of the suggestions from the manufacturer helped.

We would recommend this temperature sensor for those who wants to have a mini weather station inside their home. The indoor type only tells the temperature while the outdoor sensors are the ones responsible for telling the humidity. The indoor gadget seems to have no problem but the outdoor sensors seem like a bit tricky for the customers but they are sold separately anyway so it’s your option to buy it or not.
